EG beaker-type component housing
Versatility with system – EG series component housing is the flexible solution for your electronics.
- PCB and plug-in connections are used as standard in the EG series.
- PCBs are positioned by guide rails in various levels.
- For material version ABS, the housing is heat resistant up to 80°C and conforms to inflammability class HB according to UL94.
- Material version PC is heat resistant up to 105°C and conforms to inflammability class V0 according to UL94. In addition it is secured on the DIN rail using a metal foot catch.M5, M8, and M12 connectors for field cabling

ME component housing – flexible thanks to the modular principle
The ME series from Phoenix Contact can be tailored to your device and also saves time and space.
- With the optional 5 to 12-pos. bus connector you can reduce wiring effort as serial (2 contacts) or parallel (5 to 10 contacts) data and power transmission is supported.
- As an option, you can also use the DIN rail bus connector for quick and easy wiring and communication.
- Thanks to the multiple graded design widths ranging from 12.5 to 90 mm, you can make optimum use of the DIN rail.
- Design widths up to 135 mm are available as an option for large device dimensions.
- Use screw or spring-cage PCB terminal blocks on up to two connection levels or plug-in terminal blocks on up to three connection levels.
- Use a high number of positions with a low design width.
